Chief Darcy Bear

Darcy Bear is the Chief of the Whitecap Dakota First Nation in Saskatchewan. He holds a Business Administration Certificate from the University of Saskatchewan. In 1991, Darcy Bear was elected to Council and in 1994 he became Chief. He is currently serving his sixth term.

On behalf of the Board of Governors I welcome you to the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies website. SIIT has proven great success with the partnerships that have been created in the past, present, and going into the future. Education and Training is very important to the individuals that choose this path, and the benefits are tremendous to the future of all communities.
