President's Biography
Biography for Randell Morris, MBA CAFM
Randell has been employed with the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) since 1992 and currently holds the position of President.
Randell sits on a number of boards at the municipal, provincial and national level. He has a thorough knowledge of the Canadian college system and is a strong advocate for the seamless transfer of education. With a keen interest in industry/business, he recognizes the need for responsiveness in providing appropriate training and programming to meet the current and future labour market and economic challenges. Randell's colloquial mannerism combined with his ability to speak in front of audiences varying in both size and genre, has enabled him to express the strong message that education is a lifelong process. This truly is his passion.
Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Randell received his first Bachelor's Degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1987 and received his second Bachelor's Degree from the University of Regina in 1991. In 2000, Randell completed a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Saskatchewan. In the fall of 2005 he received his Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager designation. Randell lives in Saskatoon with his wife and daughter and is a proud member of the Gordon First Nation.
