Kim Fraser-Saddleback, BA, MCE.
Kim Fraser-Saddleback has been employed with SIIT in numerous capacities since September 1992. Kim has participated in the design, development and delivery of many First Nations' community-based education programs and research projects on the prairies and throughout Canada.
Kim is a member of the Mistawasis Cree First Nation in Saskatchewan and draws support from family members throughout Saskatchewan, central Alberta and the Southern United States. She is married with eight children and many grandchildren.
Kim obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 1990. After a course of studies that included theories, principles and practices in distance and online learning, adult education philosophies, instructional design and prior and experiential learning assessment, Kim obtained her Masters Degree in Adult and Continuing Education at the University of Saskatchewan in 2001. Kim is a soccer mom, a powwow mom, and a volunteer with Girl Guides of Canada.
The Academics and Student Services department provides programming and services to adult learners. Through a system of campuses and learning centres, classroom and virtual learning is supported by a network of Elders, Instructors, Support staff, Coaches, Coordinators and Deans.
