Adult Basic Education

Quick Overview

SIIT is an excellent academic and accredited provincially recognized educational institution. The Adult Basic Education program is tailored to deliver and meet the Saskatchewan educational curriculum requirements, supplemented with understanding of Treaty processes and history. Learners will gain the knowledge, skills and tools to attain higher levels of learning in order to pursue postsecondary education, training and thereafter, employment. Learning is a lifelong process; we welcome all learners.

SIIT offers a holistic approach to learning. The development of personal health and social well-being is a priority and therefore is supported and nurtured throughout our program. Upon completion of the Adult 12 Program, graduates receive a Saskatchewan Education Department standing, equivalent to the 24 credit Saskatchewan Grade 12 program.

The Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) is the founding institute of adult basic education; committed to sustainability, growth and enhancement of the learning environment, learning outcomes and learning achievements of all its students.
