SIIT STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP AND BURSARY POLICY

The Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies is committed to the recognition of students who strive for academic excellence, while maintaining a balanced lifestyle as students, parents, and community members. To qualify to receive scholarship funds, recipients must maintain at least 90% attendance average and an academic average of 60% or greater throughout the semester or academic year to receive their next payment.

Students are encouraged to inquire about the availability of scholarships, awards and bursaries within SIIT and from external sources.

Scholarship Applications
SIIT scholarship applications are available on the SIIT Website and at all campus and program delivery sites.

i. Review all details of the scholarship criteria. The criterion varies according to each scholarship. Ensure that the criteria are met. For example, a required academic average may be 60% with a minimal attendance record of 90%.

ii. Completed applications must be accompanied by all documents and or information specified on the application such as, but not limited to:

  • official transcripts
  • record of attendance
  • updated resume
  • detailed cover letter specifying all information as requested.

iii. Submit completed applications prior to the deadline date to the Enrolment Management Centre, 229-4th Ave South, Saskatoon SK S7K4K3 or fax (306) 477-1602.
