STUDENT CONDUCT
Personal Conduct
A student’s personal conduct has a direct bearing on his or her academic and career success. SIIT students are expected to abide by the following rules of personal conduct:
- Display a mature, positive and professional attitude toward studies, students and staff.
- Respect the privacy and property of others.
Alcohol and Other Drugs
SIIT adheres to zero tolerance for alcohol and drug abuse.
Smoking
Smoking is allowed in designated areas only.
Anti-Harassment Policy and Procedures
Harassment violates fundamental rights, personal dignity, and personal integrity. SIIT is committed to a healthy, harassment-free environment. SIIT will not tolerate harassment of its employees and students. For further information, a copy of the SIIT Anti-Harassment Policy and Procedures may be obtained from campus or site staff.
Violence on Campus or Program Site
SIIT adheres to zero tolerance for any type of violence. SIIT reserves the right to take whatever action it deems warranted by a student’s misconduct.
Responsibility for Guests
All guests are expected to report to the Campus Director or Site Coordinator or program office and conform to the behavioural standards set for SIIT students.
Use of Computer Technology
Once registration is approved, you will be provided with an account and password to access the computer facilities and services.

SIIT is committed to compliance in all copyright matters. SIIT reserves the right to monitor copy practices and ensure compliance with copyright regulations and laws.
