STUDENT TRANSFER AND WITHDRAWAL PROCESS
The following procedures shall govern student transfers and withdrawals:
Transfers
Normally, transfers must be requested prior to the beginning of a new Semester, unless due to extenuating circumstances. A student requesting a campus transfer can only transfer to the same program. A student who requests a transfer to another campus is required to follow the transfer application process:
i. Submit a Campus Transfer form to the Campus Director or Site Coordinator.
ii. The form is then forwarded to the Dean of the Program who may approve the request and forward the document to Student Services and Enrolment Management.
Requests may not be approved if the applicant is failing courses, has outstanding fees, or had not received prior approval from his/her Funding Agency.
Withdrawal from a Course/Program:
A student has 15 calendar days to withdraw from a course in a Semester. A student has 20 calendar days to complete a withdraw from a program in a Semester. A student who wishes to withdraw from a course or a program must,
i. Complete a Discontinuation Form and submit the form to the Site Manager. The Site Manager will forward information to the Program Dean.
ii. Notify their Funding Agency.
iii. Meet with the Instructor and Site/Program coordinator to discuss available options.
Students must be aware that the number of courses they withdraw from may affect their student status.
